My sister and I went to the memorial today. It was incredibly moving, and you could literally spend hours there and not see everything that people made and sent and dropped off. It was incredibly moving.

Probably very few people who follow me know where I’m from, but that was my hometown today and my elementary school. @CapeMilton and I went to Sandy Hook Elementary school, my mom works for the Newtown school system and thankfully took the day off so was not there. My heart is broken. Ian and I will be in Sandy Hook this weekend anyway to see my sister who just got home from Tokyo, but it will be strange being there in the wake of such tragedy. My heart obviously goes out to all affected.
